My Fitness Pal Review

My Fitness Pal For years I have been whats called a Yo Yo Dieter. I have jumped up and down in weight and have never found a permanent solution to my cravings. I have always been seeking the next weight loss solution. You see I am a weight loss junkie, I love reading about weight loss, trying this thing and that, and have even fallen for the Green Bean Coffee Pill which by the way did absolutely nothing. I love food especially on the weekends. But after years of trying everything under the sun, from extreme restrictions to eating certain foods, I think I have finally nailed it. Will I ever fall of the wagon maybe but my plan is so logical you will look at me and say duh.  For once I have stabilized my weight, do I cheat occasionally, I most certainly do but my weight is slowly getting lower and it has not fluctuated any higher. So for those of you who are so frustrated with all the conflicting info out there I am here to tell you there is hope.

I will share one  simple tools for people. My wife has also lost a considerable amount of weight and is coming close to her goal weight after years of frustration just like me. And I am happy to give all the creditability to my wife who found the recipe for our combined weight loss success. Are you intrigued, do you want to know the big secret, do you want to know what the next big fad is. It is not a fad, my SEO guy always says the same quote to me, I think it goes something like this ” You cannot track what you cannot measure.” That is where my recipe for weight loss success comes into play.

It’s actually quite simple, its called ” My Fitness Pal” and its a fantastic application available on the iPhone or even on your computer.  Its actually so easy to use but the real success on the weight loss is consistent use of the application. You see I always assumed when I was claiming to eat healthy I was. When My Fitness Pal told me that if I wanted to get down to my ideal weight in a certain time frame that I proposed the goal seemed ridiculous, how could I survive on 1500 Calories a day, I will starve. That first week when you track how much you are actually eating will blow you away. I was eating healthy but in excess of 4000 calories a day. When you shoot for the caloric goal that My Fitness Pal designates a couple things start happening, you realize that by adding activity to your day, working out, walking for an hour, anything extra you do will allow you to eat a little bit more. The other neat feature is it allows you to scan a bar code of anything and you can simply enter the portion size of what you ate. You can also save certain meals, for example for breakfast I am a smoothie kind of guy and I have it set in my profile. This tool works, you can share your stats with others but if you stick to it and input everything you put into your mouth with the goal on hitting you target, success is inevitable. And as for adding activity you can basically pick any activity and adjust the intensity, we are even talking about mowing your lawn, or doing yard work, its all there.

My advice try it today, shock yourself by seeing what you eat on a daily basis and make the necessary changes. Eventually consistent use of the application will make you competitive with yourself. You can expect to feel healthier, have way more energy, no more lethargic moments.
